At St John’s Church, Ben Rhydding, on Saturday 9th November, from 2-4pm. Come for tea, coffee and homemade cakes, browse at the fair trade and Matugga craft stall and more.

Ilkley Grammar school has organised a Quiz night to raise funds for the charity ‘Give a child a hope’. It will be at the Wheatley on Thursday 21st March at 7pm. Hope to see plenty of folks there supporting this event.

A successful event. Some monies was raised from a Tombola stall, prizes generously given from the stall holders at the event. Calendars were sold on our stall, along with some Matugga/Ugandan crafts.

Raks Zina dance Troupe, dressed in Steam Punk style also entertained the visitors to the event.

We will be serving afternoon tea, coffee and a scrumptious variety of home made cakes on Saturday 8th December from 2-4pm.

There will be a Fair trade stall, Matugga crafts and lucky dip stall and more!

Money raised will go to both the Revival centre in Matugga and to our Fair trade link in Sudan.

Please come and support this event by eating lots of cake with friends and buying last minute stocking fillers!

Could you be part of Bishop Ivan’s visit?

We now have a programme in place for Ivan’s visit in June

and we have spaces for him to visit supporters for a potential talk,

meal or a social visit.

Are you part of a group that would like to have Bishop Ivan visit you

to talk more about his work in Matugga? Would you be interested in

hosting him for an evening with a meal or potentially taking him for an

afternoon of relaxing or visiting local sites?

There are spaces available within the programme between

the 7th and 25th June, and they are mainly in the afternoon and

evenings.

If you would like to offer a time for Ivan to visit, then please send

A quick reminder to supporters who exchange letters with champions,

the collection date is the 18th June.

Gifts from East Morten primary school. 

St John’s Church, Ben Rhydding, nearly new children’s sale on Saturday 28th April. 

A great opportunity to clear out your children’s good quality books, small to medium toys, CD’s, DVD’s, equipment and Summer clothes. All proceeds are split 50% to you and 50% to charity. Any questions contact Jane Wearing on 01943- 609743.

The Ilkley Harriers Trail race is running again this year on Monday 28th May.

The Matugga team will be selling homemade cakes and cookies before, during and after the event. You may be running, or cheering the runners on, there’ll be plenty of cake for everyone!

Bishop Ivan will be visiting us from Matugga again from June 7th – 25th.
